Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training and a deep passion for helping adults and adolescents who struggle to manage and control their emotions. My work focuses on supporting individuals who often feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, leading to self-destructive or maladaptive behaviors that interfere with daily life and relationships. I was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at The Bridge Training Institute in Massachusetts and integrate both DBT and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques into my practice. These evidence-based approaches help clients learn how to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, improve interpersonal effectiveness, and build a more stable and satisfying life.
My clinical experience includes working with clients navigating:
Mindfulness is the foundation of DBT, and it’s a skill I both teach and practice personally. I encourage clients to develop mindfulness strategies that foster awareness, balance, and resilience in everyday life. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in creating positive change. My style is supportive, direct, and interactive, blending compassion, validation, and humor when needed to create a safe and nurturing space for growth.
I am currently accepting new clients in Texas and Massachusetts. The best way to reach me is by calling or texting 469-360-3177, and I look forward to helping you create a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and hopeful.
